Climate Impact of Solar-Powered Water Pumping Projects for the Year 2022
Within the framework of the "Solar Energy Advisor" platform's commitment to promoting transparency and sustainability, this summary presents the statistical results of our analytical study on the Carbon Emission Offset resulting from replacing traditional diesel generators with clean solar energy systems in the water sector.
Key findings of the study in numbers:
• Scope of work observed: 78 vital water pumping projects.
• Geographical coverage: Included 12 vital Yemeni governorates.
• Projects implemented by: 14 international and local organizations.
• Total clean energy produced: 3,471.600  kWh annually.
• Annual carbon offset: Avoiding the emission of 2,603.7 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2).
• Total water abundance: For all projects, approximately 3,685,529.50 cubic meters annually.


Using a reliable scientific methodology to ensure the highest standards of credibility, the study was based on approved international practices, specifically the "Greenhouse Gas Protocol" (GHG Protocol)
